Frequently asked Questions (FAQ’S) 


Q. Do you deliver to Ireland, Europe or Worldwide?

A. At the moment we only deliver to mainland UK, but if you wish to arrange collection via your own insured courier, or wish us to send to a shipping company we will try to accommodate.

Q. How much is delivery ?

A. Our aim is to make delivery free on most items however their are some items that attract a delivery charge and this will be made clear at the checkout.  Additionally, some post code areas incur an extra delivery charge which will be shown at checkout.  Our overall price including delivery will always remain the best.

Q. Do you offer a installation service. ?

A. We can install within a 30 mile radius of our showrooms, if you are not within this area please click here to find a local installer in your area.

Q. Do you keep stock of all the fires and fireplaces ?

A. Some items are in stock for immediate delivery, some can be delivered in as little as 48 hours, and most orders are dispatched within 7 to 10 working days. We will keep you updated by email of any delays and send you despatch confirmation by email so you know when to be available.

Q. Do you deliver on your own vehicles.

A. We use a next day courier service. Please ensure with heavier items that there is someone who can help the driver unload. As delivery is kerb to kerb only.

Q. Why do you only deliver to the card registered address ?

A. For security reasons we can only deliver to the card registered address.

Q. Can you offer a timed delivery ?

A. Free delivery is between 8am and 6pm. We can offer a timed delivery or Saturday delivery at an additional cost.  Please contact us for more information or select the option at checkout.

Q. What do I do if the item looks damaged when it arrives ?

A. Please check all items on delivery if damage is evident or the driver has no time for you to check or open the parcel please sign “damaged”. Signing Un-examined or un-checked will not cover you for insurance.

Q. What payment forms do you accept ?

A. We accept Cheque, PayPal & Credit / Debit Cards via our online payment provider.  Additionally, we are able to accept credit / debit card payment over the phone - please call us on the number at the top of the page.

Q. Do you offer a warranty ?

A. All products come with a manufacturers warranty, a minimum of 12 months but some manufacturers offer up to 10 years (See product details).

Q. If I don’t have mains gas can I still have a gas fire ?

A. We have a selection of LPG fires that run off bottled gas. (Click here)

Q. I have no chimney or flue can I still have a gas fire ?

A. If your fireplace is on an outside wall you can have a Balanced Flue or Powerflue fire if not you can have a Flueless Fire.

Q. Will pebbles and Driftwood fires soot up ?

A. Yes all fires produce soot (Carbon) as part of the burning process. Lighter fuel effects like pebbles or driftwood will show up carbon more than coal fires.

Q. Why do some fires on your site have no prices ?

A. Due to restrictions put in place by some manufacturers we cannot display prices on some products.  If you are interested in any of these products, please email us, live chat or give us a call for a price.
