The original Baxi Bermuda back boiler unit (BBU) was just one of those products. Launched in 1966, it was so practical and reliable that Baxi installations accounted for 80% of the back boilers installed in the UK.

Times changed and so did boilers, but with the introduction of our innovative new Bermuda BBU HE we continue our tradition of back boiler expertise. As the only high efficiency back boiler unit in the UK, it's simply the best and easiest way to replace an existing back boiler unit.

An integral part of the BBU HE solution is the Valor Dimension(TM) range of back boiler fires.

Valor fires have been keeping millions of homes warm and cosy since our initial production of portable oil heaters in 1902. Outstanding technological developments and continual investment in product design has ensured Valor remain at the forefront of the heating industry.

Benefits of BBU HE

Replacing an old back boiler with a wall hung boiler used to involve quite an upheaval for the householder. Pipework had to be changed, walls redecorated and even space loss where the new boiler was situated.

The new Baxi Bermuda BBU HE solves all that as it is the simplest most convenient way to replace a back boiler.

The Baxi Bermuda back boiler has been specifically designed to work with the Valor Dimension^T  range of electric fires.

Plus the Baxi Bermuda BBU HE is the only high efficiency BBU in the UK, fully compliant with Building Regulations Part L.  It also saves energy, up to £375 can be saved using a Band A appliance according to the Energy Saving Trust (source: EST, August 2009).
